Product Description

Catalytic Converter Cleaner helps eliminate "rotten egg" odor. A clogged or restricted Catalytic Converter can decrease fuel efficiency, rob horsepower, cause engine overheating and premature engine wear. Catalytic Converter Cleaner extends time between tune-ups, increases fuel efficiency, and extends the life of your converter. Directions: Add contents to your gas tank (funnel recommended) and drive until nearly empty before refilling your tank with fuel. Repeat every 6,000 miles or twice yearly. For faster results, run engine until fully warm. Remove air cleaner with engine running at a fast idle. Pour contents through the carburetor throat. Replace air cleaner. SHIPPING: This item can not be shipped 2nd day air.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works sometimes, October 20, 2010

This review is from: Catalytic Converter Cleaner (16 oz.)
I've used this on a car that had the rotten egg smell and it cleaned up nicely. I used it on a car with no smell but a engine code indicating a low efficiency catalytic converter and it didn't work. For the price versus the cost of replacing the cat, it's worth a shot.

4.0 out of 5 stars 2 cans does the job, July 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Catalytic Converter Cleaner (16 oz.)
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer with 204,000 mi. The check engine light indicated a catalytic converter issue. I ultimately used 2 cans and drove about 150 highway miles in 2 days and the light went out and has stayed out for a couple of months now - pretty cheap solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Suff Works, January 13, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Catalytic Converter Cleaner (16 oz.)
All I can say is that this suff worked and it worked rather fast. My 1999 Honda Accord w/ 106,000 miles had its CEL come on. Autozone coded it as either an oxygen sensor or catalytic converter fault. With inspection looming, I did not want to throw money at this problem. One can into the gas tank of this product resulted in the light going off, and, more importantly, staying off.
