The earlier version of Rick White's "Catamaran Racing: For the 90's",

This book is the earlier version of, probably the best beachcat book available, Rick White's, "Catamaran Racing: For the 90's". (It is mentioned in that book on page XII). Presumably the later book is the better book and that's why this one is worth so little second hand. However it is still a very informative book and does have specific chapters on race tuning for the; Hobie 16, Hobie 18, Prindle 16, Prindle 18 and Tornado. All pre-spinnaker boats. With prices for hardback copies in good condition going for under $5 it is hard to see how you can wrong with this book, esp. if you own a pre-1985 beachcat.
