Catpaws wooden spoons are so much fun. I love the feel and sound of the hardwood. Nice work by the artisan! Highly recommended for beginners and experienced spoons players. They are a little heavier than traditional metal spoons, but so easy to use, that makes up for the weight difference.

The Hardwood is so pretty. I just got them and had to try them out. They sound great. They come in a sturdy round cardboard container with a plastic lid, which is perfect for storing them between uses. On the round container are really great instructions on how to use them. I highly recommend them.

These are beautiful to look at and came in a nice container to store them in and came in a timely manner. They feel great with the smooth wood against my hands and are really fun to play- even for someone like me with no previous experience with "spoon" playing of either metal or wood ones. They just sound nice no matter what rhythm I try- even very simple ones. I really like the "tone" of these, as I personally think I like the wood clapping tone more than I would the possibly sharper ringing sound of metal spoons. I am currently using them to play as a percussion instrument in a doumbek drum band that plays for belly dancers and they are a cool addition. Thank you for offering these at such a reasonable price. I would definitely buy from these sellers again.
