we are bubble experts in our house and these are the best we've seen yet. there are other bubbles on the market that don't pop easily (for catching, stacking, etc) but this comes with an immeasurable advantage: a plastic seal that you can push the blower through but keeps the liquid from spilling... like the top to a fast food beverage...that kind, but more sturdy. My 4,3 and 1 year old can play with bubbles for hours, but most bubbles don't last that long because they inevitably spill or get dropped and the bubble solution comes flooding out and its all gone. these dont spill!!
sooooo....
1) they don't spill
2)the container is huge and more than enough for multiple plays and/or lots of kids to share
3) the bubbles themselves are THE BEST and don't pop easily


its true they get a little stickier than your run-of-the-mill bubbles...but my kids use them in the garage or outside (maybe the kitchen if its bad weather) and its fine. the ones we did get on stuff (the computer, table, rugs, books, etc) cleaned up easily...so it wasn't a big deal when they did land on objects inside.
my daughter got a 5-pack for her birthday and i'm online today to buy more all our friends' birthdays!!

These bubbles have been great fun. This morning I found two bubbles, one in the trampoline net and another in between some grass blades, that my son blew yesterday. After blowing some an hour ago, I can still see many of them in the grass. I was able to catch six or seven stacked on the back of my hand. We have had these for about a week and have not experienced trouble with the wand coming apart. A caution that may explain why someone may have experienced a "dud". The first day we used them it was VERY humid and the bubbles did not really set enough to catch before being carried away. They would pop when we tried to catch them. Today is a glorious day, 75 degrees, almost no humidity, not breezy, and they worked wonderfully. I paid about $3 for these in an upscale toystore. I wanted to get a large stock of them for a big family party so I checked Amazon. Of course they have a FANTASTIC price. With a pack of five, even if you get one with a broken wand, it is still well worth the price.

I picked these up for my niece & nephew, but curiosity got the better of me and I opened a package. One blow on the wand and you get dozens of shiny little bubbles. A few pop right away but most dried up as they floated down and clung to the floor, table, couch etc. My two cats were fascinated, especially when the bubbles on the floor started rolling around. When you pop the bubbles, they actually make a little popping noise, and the residue is very easy to get off your fingers, floor, clothes & furniture. Probably better to use them outside, though!

My youngest son is developmentaly disabled. These bubbles last so they give him the time to visually track, catch, and pop the bubbles. Added bonus is that they are sticky so he is required to use his fine motor skills to get them off of his fingers, shirt, pants,...

I bought this toy a long time ago and have really enjoyed it. The bubbles have to float in the air for a little bit before you can catch them without popping(I guess the liquid has to dry), but other than that, it's pretty cool! I was blowing the bubbles in the garage once, and the next day, the bubbles were still on the ground un-popped!

I must say that the kids had fun with these for awhile, but they are very messy, and sticky. They leave a super-glue like residue on everthing they touch, including hands. If the solution gets spilled,its a big mess. This one is No fun for parents.

I'm thirteen and my little sister plays with her catch a bubble thing, all the time. It's great because it lasts longer and doesn't spill like regular bubbles. However, if your child catches a bubble and squishes it in his/her hands it is very messy, kind of like glue. If it does spill, it's hard to wash out of rugs, but easy to wipe of hard surfaces. Overall I say buy this product, but be prepared for a little mess. :)

I have three kids, ages 3, 4 and 10. I bought these bubbles on sale thinking that they might be OK but expecting junk. I WAS WRONG! These bubbles are really great! All of my kids love them and they really do stack and harden the longer you let them dry. They are slightly sticky but they don't make a huge mess and I've found that we can play with them both in the house and outdoors without a mess. When I blow bubbles off my balcony they fly everywhere and even stick to my neighbors house! The great thing about that is these bubbles are funny and amusing but don't do any harm. Even I have a blast watching them float around! A+ for a bubble product that really works!

My sister's response to the bubbles sent as a birthday gift (her children are 3, 7, 9 and 12): "They loved them. The bubbles do harden after being blown and can be caught carefully with an open hand or on a flat surface. If you use 2 fingers or squeeze them just the slightest bit, they get squashed right away, and they weren't able to stack them. But they were great fun anyway, much better than regular bubble soap."

Our Westie, Hunter, loves to catch bubbles. These bubbles stick around a while so he can keep catching them. This should be a dog or cat toy too!
