We bought this for the baby when she was five months old almost two years ago in Woodstock at a wonderful little kid's store. What a find! The baby immediately loved it, but so did my then-five year old son. And so did my husband and I--the lovely renditions of folk and traditional and original work are wonderful. It bears the inevitable repeated listenings and is my now-two-year-old's favorite album still. I recently included the cover of Dylan's "New Morning" on a mix I made for my adult friend to celebrate her divorce. It's not really kids' music, at least not only kid's music. Buy this, and if you like it, buy everything by Elizabeth Mitchell, like You Are My Sunshine. You won't be sorry.

Knew Lisa Loeb's name from a while ago and knew about Ida, but very taken with this really beautiful compilation. There is clearly a market for 30-something plus year old parents who are into music, who then have little ones. We love this and Elizabeth Mitchell's other CDs.

i've been playing this cd non stop for the past 4 months, and we all love it. I even put it on without my baby in the car. the music is fresh and soothing.

I am a big fan of Elizabeth Mitchell. And this CD with Lisa Loeb is also great. My 3 yr. old son loves listening to it. And I love it, too! The songs are so soothing, it is a great one to pop in on drives when I want him to settle down or nap. But if I want him to relax, I need to make sure to skip the "Stop and Go" track because that one is so much fun. We love dancing to that one! These songs are all just so good and this cd is a great addition to my music collection!

We absolutely love this CD. My daughter is 13 months old and I love singing to her. The music is lovely and so beautiful. The only way to describle it is like a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold rainy day. It also comes with a DVD with a couple of songs, my daughter watches it over and over, too bad the DVD is so short. You can't go wrong with this CD, I plan to give it to all my pregnant friends as well.

One of the better CD's I have purchased in a while. My daughter has a great time with it and my wife and I really enjoy the songs as well. Good, wholesome lyrics and simple songs. Sometimes we just play it as background music. Highly recommended.

This CD is a little slow for my daughter's taste (she's ALWAYS in motion!) but I think the songs are beautiful. I wish the DVD had more videos...2 is not enough, b/c they are wonderful!

We bought this cd when my daughter was an infant after watching the youtube video many many times... she enjoyed it then and now at 19 months she still loves it! Catch the Moon is her absolute favorite song and she requests it all the time. On a recent road trip we listened to it on replay at least a dozen times...since it is a beautiful song the parents did not mind so much...She also loved the video and loves to dance to it and follow all the movements. It was amazing to see her learn all the words and do the movements. Now she asks to see the moon before going to bed every night. She also enjoys and gets excited by hearing several of the other songs too. Mom and dad enjoy the cd too as it is very pretty and can listen to it often as compared to other childrens cds which just sound like loud noise. Overall a great buy.

Lisa Loeb's Catch the Moon is an adorable acoustic children's CD that is pleasant for parents as well as children. I am a pediatric speech therapist with an infant of my own. The songs are soothing and upbeat and I appreciate that the lyrics are slow and enunciated. Perfect for preschoolers, but loved in the early stages as well! I love the songs in other languages as well. Adorable CD!

I bought this CD over 6 years ago and have recommended it to all my "expecting" friends. My boys have enjoyed this CD nearly every night since birth and none of us are "sick" of the songs. Songs are fun, soothing and are great for car rides as well as the nursery. The original CD I purchased came with a book and my boys enjoyed the book as well.
