Book Description

June 1996 3 and up
Life Is More Than Jet-Skis, Frisbees, and Big Screen TVs

Teachers say you’re brainless—and do nothing more than baby-sit you until graduation.

Adults call you hopeless—and judge you by your hair, your clothes, your music, and your friends.

Sales clerks assume you’re evil—and follow you around waiting for you to steal the store.

A lot of adults won’t take you seriously. God does. A lot of adults think you’re clueless. God says you’re capable.

God’s goal is to build a tight group of friends who belong to him—friends who honor him as their Master and rely on his care now and forever, and whose hearts beat with compassion for all the people of the world.

God is crashing in like a wave all over the planet. So how do you Catch the Wave? By learning how to grab your place in God’s plan to change the world. And there’s no better place to be than in the water with him.

Don’t Miss Out on Your Chance to Get Wet.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not that great, April 7, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Catch the Wave (Paperback)
Catch the Wave wasn't as helpful to me, as I had hoped and expected. It was almost like reading a textbook. Two things that I did like were the stories and examples it gave, and the missions oppertunities in the back of the book. It's good to read in a group, instead of by yourself. One tip: Don't be fooled by the fact that it's in the children's section. It's more focused for students in late highscool and college.
