This past weekend I had the pleasure of seeing Roseanna and her trio in a beautiful cafe/bar in the very north corner of Pennsylvania (The Water Wheel, Milford, PA). I was so moved by the passion put into this appearance that I must purchase a few of her CDs. It's refreshing to find musicians this talented and committed to real music making.

Vitro's Best, January 21, 2004

Roseanna Vitro is a terribly underrated artist, and if you are interested in checking her out, start here. These are not simply note-for-note renditions of "The Genius", but starting off points for some very fine arrangements. "One Mint Julep" is fine; "Night Time is the Right Time" is extremely sensual; and "You Don't Know Me" is a heart-rending piano-voice duet. A great bargain-bin buy.
