5.0 out of 5 stars Bugs stick on the glue good
I got this for the Brown Recluses we have in my house. It does a great job. I put some in my basement and caught a mouse also.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless
I bought these glue traps after using the regular Catchmaster Glue Mouse traps. The regular ones worked fine. These Mouse and Insect Glue Traps (package of 60) are worthless. A mouse can walk on and then right off. There is not enough glue on the traps to hold them on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crickets Beware, December 8, 2009

Crickets Beware - although the Catchmaster Mouse Glue Board is directed for catching mice (which I suppose it does very good) I utilize it to rid my basement from the menacing cricket. They seem to be drawn to the scent of the glue and capture all the tread on them. Since I have pets, I utilize the perferated seams to shaped them into a box so the glue is not exposed. It works just as well as when they are laid flat. At first my traps were full of crickets but after a few weeks I a am left with a clear basement with only few crickets left on the boards now and than.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Deal!, March 23, 2011

The price for 60 of these cannot be beat. At Lowes I was paying $4.00 for a box of five. These are great for catching spiders, scorpions, roaches, and other small bugs. These might trap a mouse for a brief period of time but they would eventually escape. Check them frequently and as soon as you have caught a large roach or mouse dispose of it.

I have seen numerous large (three inches long) American Roaches escape from glue boards similar to this. If you are trying to catch a mouse or rat use a mouse or rat glue board which has a raised edge to hold the extra glue (place peanut butter in the center to attract them).

If you are trying to protect your family from poisonous spiders and scorpions these are the things you want to place around your house. Place them against walls, behind furniture, by doors, and anywhere else you think bugs might be entering your house.

Like I mentioned, a determined scorpion or large spider will eventually work themselves free, so check them frequently. Sometimes I will get a pen and push a spider against the glue to insure they won't escape.

Fast shipping. Good quality product. I got mine to take care of bugs only and they work perfectly for me. Customer service great. Overall a very good company to buy from.

The smell of a box of these traps is a little off-putting, but individually you don't really smell anything. I guess the smell is part of the trapping method. In any case, you will have a hard time pulling your fingers loose if you accidentally grab the gummy part so I can't imagine any bug or small critter getting away. Absolutely keep them away from children. We will buy more when this supply runs out. BTW, we have a log home where wasps and lady bugs squeeze in no matter how much we caulk. Great for catching flies in the summer, too.

I was not happy with the product I received. It was very small, but I was expecting something larger. The picture and description did not match the product but now the picture has been corrected.

2.0 out of 5 stars It works, but it's not very humane, November 12, 2011
This review is from: Catchmaster Mouse & Insect Glue Traps "Case of 48"
A year after maintenance placed this trap under our stove, we caught a mouse. So the glue definitely works well after a year in a dusty area. We noticed the mouse because we heard some crazy loud noises under the stove, thinking it was a rat, but it was the mouse trying desperately to get free. We ended up having to place it in a bag and run it over with our car not to cause any more stress to the mouse. Low rating because it doesn't actually kill the mouse, but let's it suffer.

Good trap for bugs, mice, etc. A little smaller than the ones used by my exterminator but work well. Change them every 3 months or so.
