Look, I wanted to like this shoe. I bought it as a shoe for doing chores.

It looks nice.

It's built tough.

The price was right.

But whoever designed this shoe has some of the strangest feet on the planet. This shoe has no arch in it whatsoever... totally flat, and no support in the middle, so when I add arch supporting insoles, they don't do anything.

The sides are so tall, and made out of leather so rigid, that they rub my ankles painfully. Trying to soften the leather hasn't helped.

I don't know... if you have a pair of these and they fit well, please let everyone know, because I hate to damn a nice-looking pair of shoes if they fit someone else, but they sure don't fit me, and I don't remember the last time I had an uncomfortable pair of shoes.
