The high top gives the stability your foot needs.
They're slip resistant. They hardly weigh anything. This is great because I'm always on the move.
I only wished that they were water proof....
The first thing I noticed was that they are a bit heavy. These are by no means steal-toe heavy, but they are heavier than most light boots.
Until you break them in, they are downright painful. I felt like I was strapping bricks to my feet when I first wore these, even with gel sole inserts. The longer you wear them, however, the more comfortable they get. They were still uncomfortable two months in, but some time around six months in, you start to really like them. They're not tennis shoe comfy; or light for that matter. But they aren't terrible.
Most importantly though, these shoes hold together well. I'm almost two years into these boots, and I think I'll replace them inside six months. This is on a good five miles a day of walking, though I don't do construction or anything extremely heavy for the most part.
I was looking for a light weight workboot that wasn't too bulky and so far I am very happy with this boot. I use it for work around the house wearing with jeans or shorts. Not an industrial strength boot, but that's not what I was looking for.

This boot didn't last long before the soles broke from the boot. There are to many other boots to choose from with better quality.Published 12 months ago by leslie
The design of this boot is great, however the seams on both shoes near the bottom eyelets came apart after only about a week of light use. I wouldn't recommend this productPublished 16 months ago by Loren Estes
I bought these for my husband because the boots he had were horrible. He really likes them, they are very comfortable and durable.Published 22 months ago by Elizabeth
These boots last me longer then any other boot i have tried in 20 years. And i typically only get 4-5 months out of my work boots. Read morePublished on January 12, 2014 by Stephen Polito
