This is my second pair of CAT Second shift boots.
I wore the first pair out after years of abuse.
They are comfortable from day one, look great and last.

my old work boot was the timberland pro's, which lasted about 2 years before the sole started separating. I've worn this about 2 weeks, and my feet still hurts, too narrow. If I tighten the bottom of the tongue, I wouldn't be able to walk in it. also that pull tab sticks out way too much, I constantly have to pull my pants over it. Not enough padding, and as one of the reviewer suggested, get a sole insert. there's a logo sewed onto the inside of the boot and it irritates the hell out of me, even in wool socks, it tickles the bottom of your fee.

I am really enjoying these boots.. This is the first time that I have tried Caterpillar and really Second shift boots rock!.. The best part about these boots is they are really comfortable, I can really say that these are truelly walking machines as CAT claim..

Also I want to appreciate the fast and quick service from Amazon.com. I trully felt special when I got these boots in less than 4 days , that too in India.. Really Amazon.com and Cat Rocks.. Thanks to both..

I recently bought a second set of these to replace my first. I work in the dairy business and I'm on my feet all throughout the day in every weather condition imaginable. With that being said these boots hold up great. When a pair of boots is only going to last a year tops I see no reason to pick up a pair that retails for twice as much. These boots are comfortable but I also have somewhat narrow feet. I hear alot of guys prefer other brands if you wear a wide. Within 2 days these are broken in and feel just as comfortable as my original pair. So, without a doubt, I rate these a 5 out of 5 at there price point. Theyre cheap, they last just as long as any premium brand, and they're comfortable for my feet. My next set will probably be the same pair when these ones wear out.

This is my second pair of caterpillar boots. My first pair I wore straight out of the shop and went trekking in the desert and they were comfortable out of the box. They lasted over ten years of regular use. I bought a pair of the second shifts and once again comfortable from day one. They are slightly heavy but they're a boot not a shoe so I can deal with that. I'm thinking of buying a second pair in a different colour just because I love wearing these boots.

My husband got these boots 6 months ago and refused to wear them due to them being so hard. He wore them on the weekends to break them in but that didn't work. These boots are literally harming his feet. He has been wearing them about 2 months now and we are looking for another pair of boots. He is hurting every night when he come home and you can see where they are harming his feet,he says they won't bend at all. Breaking them in isn't the answer, he has tried everything. If the seller could have stated if these boots had any give to them would have been helpful. Really wish they had been like the old ones.

In nearly 26 years of auto repair I have never had a work boot last longer than 6 months. Not even the much ballyhooed Red Wing. In 4 - 6 months its always been time to pony up for another pair of work boots - til now. From 7 a.m. till 11 p.m., Monday - Friday these boots have been on my feet. Now, 12 months later, the soles are finally near smooth. I still have another 2 months left in them at this rate but for the price, why wait? This is the very best work shoe EVER!! And my back pain has never returned since wearing them. Another bonus!

First off, shipping was super fast, and you can't beat the price anywhere else. This is a high quality work boot, very comfortable. It can even look like casual footwear just throwing jeans on covering the whole boot. Great boot.

These are excellent sturdy, comfortable, good looking work boots. The construction of these boots is first rate, solid stitching, and rugged lace eyelets. I like the slightly darker tan color of these boots.

There is a bonus black engraved Caterpillar bulldozer on the heel. I like that touch a lot. CAT is visible at the very top of the boot. The yellow and black is not obnoxious at all.

These are rugged insulated boots. They are not safety boots with steel toes.

There is a slightly cheaper alternative to this boot, the Cactus 6" work boot, (Cactus 6'' Classic Boots). I purchased both Caterpillar and Cactus boots. To me the Caterpillar boot is better, but slightly more expensive. If you are very cost conscious, then the Cactus boot might be a better choice.

I like this boot a lot. The CAT logo is cool to me. I expect these will wear like iron and last a long time.

The seller delivered the boots quickly and in great condition. He sent the boots in a separate box with a clear label and they arrived only a few days after they were sent. These boots go for well over $100 and the price was incredibly almost half of that! Have a great holiday!
