I recently bought a pair of these boots and had them sent to me here in Afganistan (not Iraq). I have been walking over dust mounds, sand, dirt roads, gravel, and everything else in the terrain here for about a month now, and I have pretty much been walking on a cloud. Walking here is at least half of my job, and as a former diesel technician (now supervisor) I figured I couldn't go wrong with a name like Caterpillar. I was right. These shoes are absolutely the best shoes I have ever owned, and after they have been worn out, I will definitley buy another pair!!

These are some tough boots!Breaking them in is a chore and will hurt for awhile, but it is worth the pain. When these Cat's do break in they will last you a long long time. Keep them oiled up and you will have a great pair of boots that will last you many years.
I use them for winter riding on my motorcycle and ruff work.

Received the boots quickly but they didn't fit right and didn't feel very comfortable. Had to send them back and ordered a different boot.
