these boots have steel toes, but are not too heavy, and trust me, the steel toes work. i was laying 120 lb. pipe on them to help pick up the pipe and my toesies were just fine.
they are comfortable and feel true to size. no complaints.

nice quality boots but it's bigger than true size. i normally wear 6.5 and will have to pay for shipping to return them for a 6.0. i like the insoles are removable so you can put in your own gel/arch support insoles.

I bought these from a third party through amazon. They're steel toed, insulated soled, work boots. For the first week of work they gave me horrific blisters on my heels, from the sole of my foot up my ankle to the top of the boot. I'm sure that was partly due to the fact that I'd been barefoot or in flip flops for 90% of the last six months. Two extra large bandages on each heel for the second week allowed the blisters to heel and the boots to finish breaking in. They're heavy, hot, and stiff. They keep my feet clean, my toes safe, and they have a nice enough shape. I'm sure they'll last much longer than any previous work boots I've owned. They've passed the "crawling over lava rocks" test, the "concrete splatter clean up" test, and the "don't pinch my toes" test. They fail the "loose gravel slip" test, and the "ankle roll" test.
I hate work boots. Hate them. But I like these better than any of my previous pairs. Since there are no wide sizes, I needed an insole to take up the extra length to get the width I needed. If you have to wear work boots, but hate shoes, these are pretty good. |
