1.0 out of 5 stars Really!? To both the author and 5-star reviewers. November 22, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
A woman has her husband take some pictures of their daughter with a caterpillar and writes a few words under each photo and calls it a book!? ...and tries to charge for it!? Give me a break. It looks like it was just thrown together in a couple hours in hopes of making a quick and easy buck by marketing it on Amazon. Furthermore, the photos look 100% amateur. Look on any parents cellphone/camera and they'll have ordinary photos like these.

And to the people who gave this book 5-stars. lmao. Are you serious!? You must be family or friends. That's the only thing that explains that.

Don't waste your money on this, or time for that matter if the "book" is still free. Do you and your kid a real favor. Spend a morning with them and take some pictures of them. Then take those pictures and upload them to Snapfish, Artscow, etc. and make up your own photobook with your own story and have a treasure that will last their lifetime and be worth way more than what you spent on it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm seven and I like this book February 5, 2012

I like insects and I do love catching butterflies. I like that she tries to get the caterpillar to check email and read a story.

One of the first books I bought for my son (then about 6 and just starting to read) At 10 he still revisits it (despite denying so). A great picture book for the littlies.

Well, the pictures are pretty. I'm glad it wasn't longer. Didn't offer much by way of education or story. My daughter liked the pictures but there are definitely better choices. Read more
