Decent but not as good as the Nite Ize Spokelit,

I ordered these to try since I had already bought the Nite Ize Spokelits at Amazon a couple of months ago and really liked them. The Orbits work as advertised but are not as bright or easy to install as the Nite Ize Spokelits. They are also more expensive than the Spokelits. I have the red Spokelits and they are quite a bit brighter and seem to spread the light across the surface of the plastic body more than the Orbit. In the future I think I would stick with the Spokelit.

Not what I hoped for,

I sent these back for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the lights came on in transit, so one of the batteries was already completely dead. Secondly, after seeing how bright my Planet Bike Blinky rear light is in comparison to this dim thing, I just didn't think these would offer any extra visibility. There is only one LED in each spoke light. I'm holding out for something really bright.

It's what I wanted, but...,

I ride very early in the morning to work (usually in the dark), and I'm always looking for ways to make myself more visible. So, I replaced my wheel reflectors with the Cateye Orbit Spoke Lights. And I really like them.
PROs: Easy to install; easy to turn on/off; pretty colors! ;) CONs: None yet. OTHER: (This is why I dinged them a Star) I guess this has to do with either packaging, or my inability to read labels (or something like that). You see, if you look at the packaging pic, it shows (to me anyway) 1 White & 1 Red, which is what I wanted (White for the front & Red for the back). But guess what? It's neither! It is really 2 kinda Orange/Red lights. Now, this is not a deal killer by any means for me. Just a little disconcerting. Otherwise, I really like them. Sure, you have to go through the initial "turning off the trial mode", but that's easy. What I really like is how "intelligent" they are. First push turns it solid, Second push turns it to blink, Third push turns it off (nothing new there, many do that). However, let's say you like Solid-mode. When you're done riding, you do not need to go through blinky-mode to get to off. If you are in any mode for more than a few seconds, your next push will turn it off. Nice.
