Keeps the cars aware,
By Mr J (San Francisco, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have had this on my bike for about six weeks now, and it has performed beautifully. I was concerned that it might fall off, since I do jumps and stuntriding at night. But the bracket is sturdy and has never been a problem. The different modes are more than enough (scanning, random, all-blink, always-on, off), and it seems to be quite bright -- or at least enough to give cars a little warning that I'm on the road. Recommended if you ride in any situation where you want cars to see you from behind after sundown. I don't know how long the batteries last, because so far I have not needed to change them (30 hours of riding on scan-mode).

My favorite blinkie,
By CD (Japan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cateye TL-LD600BR (5)R LED Bicycle Tail and Safety Light (Red) (Sports)
I've purchased about every blinkie on the market and this is my favorite. It is bright, it attaches and detaches easily, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. (My leg strikes it if it is horizontal, so I like being able to mount it on the bike vertically.) I commute at night in traffic, so having a dependable and bright rear light is very important to me. This is one that has done the job very well (bright)and has been very reliable. The best I've used so far.

Good light, one flaw,

This review is from: Cateye TL-LD600BR (5)R LED Bicycle Tail and Safety Light (Red) (Sports)
This light has pretty much everything you'd expect in a good taillight: bright, good battery life, strong mount, quick release, no tools needed to change battery, and waterproof.I purchased this light because my old one was stolen, so I keep this one with me rather than on the bike. The problem lies in the switch: it is too easy to press. The light often turns on in my bag which is aggravating because it runs the batteries down.
