This is about my 7th workout of Cathes and it's great. It's tough but it's going to give you amazing results if you do it consistantly. On the DVD there are three different types of workouts. There is classic floor work, abdominal workout using a stability ball and also a workout with a stability ball and medicine ball. It's fun and gets easier over time.

The three segments on the video are somewhat redundant. The overall price is way too high for what you get. Very disappointed in the content given the cost.

This is about my 7th workout of Cathes and it's great. It's tough but it's going to give you amazing results if you do it consistantly. On the DVD there are three different types of workouts. There is classic floor work, abdominal workout using a stability ball and also a workout with a stability ball and medicine ball. It's fun and gets easier over time.
All of these ab workouts are going to tone you up and flatten you out (if you do a lot of cardio too). She is a great instructor and she cues well so you know what's coming up next. If you want a toned tummy, you need to eat right, do cardio and use this DVD for a fantastic ab workout that you will feel. It's great.

I watched CATHE doing her routine on TV and thought it'd be nice not to have to deal with commercials. I really like her workouts and this CD series is set up nicely in three separate segments....on mat only, with stability ball & with stability ball and a medicine ball. All three segments provide a serious core challenge. The CD provides an intro so that you know what each segment will be like. You can then chose the type of workout you want. All definitely provide a serious core workout! I thought the workout on the mat was going to be the easiest... wrong! She makes you use those core muscles to their optimum. I personally like using the stability ball with the medicine ball segment on the days I do my weight workout...gives me a sense of doing a well rounded routine. It's tough, but well worth the effort.

I caught Cathy Friedman on FitTV one day and then I recorded the show the next time it was on. I finally got sick of fast forwarding through the commercials and bought the Core Max DVD's and the Ab Circuits DVD. They are both incredible. The workout is so intense that I cannot get my very athletic husband or his brother to try it. When I started I could not make it through every exercise, but with practice and doing it 3 times a week for the last 10 weeks, I have lost 2 inches in my waistline and have no sign of the "meno-pot" I was starting to get. I have several herniated discs throughout my entire spine and these workouts have actually strengthened the muscles around my spine and I have much less pain. I have a note on my FB page that her DVD is the best ab routine I have ever done. I was in the Navy for 24 years and did 2 tours with the Marine Corps, I worked out all the time and this is still, by far the most effective ab routine I have ever done. You will not regret this workout, just stick with it and you will not believe how hard your abs will get!

This is my second Cathe work out video (the first is the step body fusion). This is a awesome ab and core workout, the length of each workout is perfect, any shorter and it wouldnt be enough and much longer and i'd probably pull something. I'm not in the best shape ever, but I am not completly out of shape either, id say im pretty average for a young woman. I feel that it is NOT too difficult to where I can barely finnish half the program, however there are some areas that i'll have to work up to doing perfect all the way through. Which, I feel this is a good thing because it allows me to have goals and prevents me from getting bored or too discouraged.

Cathe is my favorite workout leader so far, she doesnt yell at you through the TV and she isnt annoyingly perky. However, you definatly dont get bored with the workouts. At first, I was thinking, "how many ways can you work your stomach!?" But I was wrong, there are a lot of different workouts Cathe includes to work all areas of your core without being repetative.

Another thing I love is that she makes sure to explain how to properly do the exercise, and stresses that having good form is more important than finnishing the exercise. She also includes variations of most exercises to either make things easier/less stressful or to make things more challenging

**NOTE** Before you buy this workout, make sure you have a stability ball, and a medicine ball (Cathe uses 8lb, so do i), I also reccomend a mat so you dont get irritated by your carpet or flooring.

This video is def a good investment and I cant wait till i start to not only feel the results but actually start to see them :o)

If you are looking for a time effective, tough targeted abs workout, this is the DVD for you. I am a trained classical pilates instructor so I am very picky about my exercise videos. Although I obviously love pilates, I enjoy doing other types of non-pilates ab workouts as well, and enjoy doing them with videos. Many of the videos that are out there just are not challenging enough. All of Cathe Friedrich's videos are tough and effective, but she always give options for those who are more beginning or have some type of injury. This abs video gives you 3 different 20 minute segments with and withut the exercise ball, and just 20 minutes will give you a great workout. I highly recommend this video.

I've had this DVD for about two years, and, out of over 125 workout DVD's that I own, this is my absolute favorite ab workout. I never get sick of doing the workouts on here because of Cathe's wonderful personality and encouraging attitude.

When I do the workouts on here on a regular basis, I also notice fewer lower back aches and pains. Cathe really works not just your abs, but your entire core -- the entire abdominal region, as well as the lower back.

The three workouts are definitely advanced, but you can modify, and they require the use of a stability ball and a medicine ball.

Highly recommended!

Cathe does a great job warming you up and then really challenging your core. She pushes you hard enough to see real change in your body. I would recommend this for everyone wanting to seriously shape their midsection.

This DVD has three different 20 minute core workouts. Routine 1 uses no equipment, Routine 2 uses a stability ball, and Routine 3 uses a medicine ball and a stability ball.

This is one of Cathe's best core workouts.

Why I love this workout:

**it's deceptively hard! Even the no equipment routine is a killer. Those rocket shoots and levitation moves get me every time.

**the variety. I don't like core work and I have to force myself to do it. With the three very different routines, plus 3 pre-mixes that combine pieces of each routine, I will never tire of doing this DVD.

**Cathe's encouragement. I love hearing her say that even if you can't do a move like the levitation move completely, just the act of attempting the move works your core.

**the 20 minute length of each routine. This makes it easy to tack on the core work after doing another workout.

If you want some fun and different core routines, you will like this DVD.

This is the only workout that has ever made me feel instantaneously stronger and leaner after a single use. It is challenging and continues to be with regular use. It really is the greatest resource for a great core workout. Cathe truly pushes and is encouraging the entire time. Absolutely worth it.
