This review is from: A Cathedral Builder (The Everyday Life of Series) (Hardcover)
"Cathedral Builder" follows the life of a ten year old boy who becomes an apprentice to the master architect building the great Rheims Cathedral. By observing his everday life, the reader develops insights into one the Medieval world's most important building projects. This book is part of Giovanni Caselli's wonderful "The Everday Life" series. The series is out of print and individual books can be purchased at a very reasonable price. The illustrations are provided by the talented David Salariya. Finally, this book is a nice compliment to David Macauly's and Fiona MacDonald's great books on Medieval Cathedrals.
