This book begins with a review of the history of American education, which establishes the contextual background for understanding the critical importance and unique contributions of our Catholic school system. The remainder of the book describes how a core group of parents and educators transformed the Catholicity within their parish school. Catholic from the Inside Out is a must read for anyone interested in transforming a Catholic school's environment "from the inside out" to ensure that the culture authentically witnesses the the virtues, principles, and beliefs of the Universal Church. The appendix contains a wealth of materials and resources which can be used to put the book's suggestions into practice. Highly recommended for anyone serious about Catholic education!
