I bought this for my daughter and use it even more than she does. This is a wonderful Catholic interpretation of the Bible and does a great job of explaining Catholic beliefs and traditions in relation to Scripture. It has all 73 books, so it's a complete Catholic Bible.

Some of the special features I like most include "Live It!" giving the reader practical applications drawn from real life and "Pray It!" encouraging the use of the Bible for personal prayer. Lots of study aids help place the teachings in context.

The Catholic religion hasn't changed in over 2,000 years, yet this bible makes it accessible to today's believers. I recommend it for anyone interested in a little extra help when exploring Scripture.

This is an awesome Bible for kids- especially young teens. We give them to our 6th graders each year and they use it for study through high school.
We have always purchased them through the publisher and they have become quite costly. By buying through Amazon, I saved over $300.00! Yes, I will check here for purchases in the future.

Excellent Easy to use Bible. Great for the Young adults in our lives. Makes great sense out of scripture. Hard to Find and Usually expensive, Extremely reasonable on Amazon.

We have been using this version of the Bible for people entering into the Catholic Faith (RCIA). Everyone loves it. It not only explains the meaning of passages but offers insight into the teaching and traditions of the Catholic Faith and has prayers tucked here and there. Also, it applies the biblical message to different situations, cultures and ethnicities. Add all that up and you have a bible that is easy to read and understand and a way to understand Catholic teaching.

Excellent study bible for beginners, not just youth. Great explanation with historical background information. A must have for every family.

I have used this bible for a few years now and love it! I find the additional notes to be informative and thought provoking for students of all ages. We now purchase these for our 6th graders at my parish. The parents who saw our 'new' bibles really liked them too. I cannot recommend this book enough for both students and adults!

I highly recommend the Catholic Youth Bible as an inspirational and formational resource for our young people. The design is engaging and the articles and resources speak to young people in a very user-friendly manner while not compromising substance. Getting the Catholic Youth Bible into the hands of our young people will help ensure that the next generation of Catholics will not grow up "biblically deprived" as many in previous generations did!

This is a real good bible with a translation you could use to "quote". I liked the pages and inserts with explainations. You could sit down and just read facts and info on many subjects in the bible. I wish the pages were a little thicker so you could write or highlight on them. I suppose it would make this book thicker and heavier. It would make a great study bible for youth or any age. I, definately, would recommend this bible to anyone.

This bible is explained for understanding the meaning inside of the bible. It's described with more detail how God works to every prophet until His own Son Jesus Christ and full of guidances.

We were very pleased with these books as we use them with our youth group. They are written well and are easy for the students to use.
