This is a great study tool as it provides background and history for each section and book of the bible as well as interesting facts and notes throughout the chapters. It provides more than just the Bible stories, but an understanding of the context of these stories.

our church bought each of us who were confirmated this Bible....its in "english" so you can actually understand what they're talking about, it has some great connections to modern life so you can bring the Bible into the twenty-first century. it also has some great prayres, things to think about, and even some other tips....this is the only Bible i'll read!

A Bible is a Bible....It is in excellent condition, arrived in good time. I did experience issues in as much as I recived several emails intended for other people and one or two telling me I had to fetch the package from a local post office - which I ignored and it arrived anyway (since I live in Australia and the book was in the USA). I was, however, very unsure for a while whether or not I would actually recieve it. anyhow, it' here and all is well.
