5.0 out of 5 stars Catholicism & Reason, January 12, 2000
By
This review is from: Catholicism & Reason Text: Creed & Apologetics (Paperback)
This book is well organized, logical, and easy to understand. It is an excellent book for use with the RCIA or homeschooling. I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to understand the basis for the Catholic faith or wants to be able to communicate that information to others. There are other similar books by the same authors including 'Catholicism & Life.'

This book explains Catholic faith, morals and doctrines with keeping in full communion with the teaching authority of the Church. This book is easy to read and understand. The authors are to be commended. I highly recommend this book as well as the others in the series.

1.0 out of 5 stars wow., November 10, 2010
This review is from: Catholicism & Reason Text: Creed & Apologetics (Paperback)
I can't begin to express how atrocious this text is. I guarantee that as soon as you begin to read the first chapter, your brain will either:
a) Turn into an amorphous blob
b) Explode
j) Flat out vanish
c) Burst into flames
d) There are no alternatives! (readers of the text will understand this)

Unless you believe that the only way to thoroughly examine a topic is to come up with illogical arguments that are supported by almost entirely out dated or (frankly) nonsensical material, run far far away.

You may think I'm exaggerating but I couldn't be more serious.
This book, however, does supply you with endless laughter (one star awarded).
Think of it almost as a satire on reason and you'll be entertained for days.
