The list author says: "I had the opportunity of a Catholic education from grade 5 through university (the University of Notre Dame). I then became a "lapsed" Catholic immediately upon leaving UND and attended services only for baptisms, weddings, and funerals. I returned to my Catholic roots when my children reached the ages of four and six to insure that they had a religious foundation. My return began an ever deepening journey into Catholicism. I have had the opportunity to attend services in Jerusalem, and Rome (Christmas and Easter Week), and to meet John Paul II. I have grown to appreciate my Church and my Catholic roots. I have read and reviewed each of these books and hope, that you too, will experience a deepening appreciation for the Church that has its roots in "the upper room."
