Cathy's Concepts Silver Pillar Candle Holder

This pillar holder is a great size and shape for just about every pillar candle 2"-4" in diameter. My only problem with it is that it just isn't silver. The detailed information says it's silver plated, but I'm not so sure. It just doesn't have the edges I expect from silverplating. I think it's nickle-plated. Either way, there are some rough edges along the circumference of the bottom. It also doesn't look quite like the picture - the top and the bottom are actually much closer to the same size and the bottom is more rounded - almost the same curve as the top. Perhaps I didn't receive exactly what I ordered, but since I needed to put it to use fairly quickly and there was no time left to search for something else, I bit the bullet and went ahead and used it. It's a perfectly functional and attractive item - I had just expected more.

Well I expected it not to be like the picture as other people stated. But it seems that they have a habit of sending out damage goods. I think I read a review by someone else who said their's had nicks in it. Mine did as well. It is silver plated not silver. Overall it is a well balanced holder minus the nicks in the plating it is made very well.
