Interesting but flawed.,
By HardyBoys.us (Long Island USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Catlore (Paperback)
Catlore is a pretty good read as long as the author sticks to the topic.Unfortunately he often goes off on tangents with screeds concerning cat neutering, Christianity, European culture and human nature among other things.

an uninformed author,
By sheri (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Catlore (Paperback)
Millions of unwanted cats are euthanized every year in the US and Dr. Morris insists that spaying and neutering are unnecessary and cruel operations. What an ignoramus.

light reading about cats,
This review is from: CATLORE (Hardcover)
this book has some interesting facts about cats. this book has different captionsfor each page like,"do cats have esp?","what is poisonous to cats?","why do cats sulk?"why do some cats hate men?"are there any gay cats?"etc. the author explores each topic. i read this through very fast that is why i say it is light reading about cats. it does not have any photos but, there are some cute illustrations of cats in the book. some of the illustrations look like ones that were drawn back in the 19th century;they have that quaint victorian look.

just like its preceeding book "catwatching", "Catlore" just arms you with knowledge written in a way that makes you most receptive to the information. i read the book years ago in 4th grade and now, at 24 years old, i cant say enough good things about it. anyone that doesnt read this book is at a loss
