Catskill's "Gourmet" collection offers a wide range of chopping blocks for every occasion. Blocks include special features such as rounded corners, deep blended juice grooves, wooden ball feet with rubber pads, and laminated domestic hardwood in a variety of grain patterns for durability, toughness and beauty. All have oiled finishes. One side has a "Holding-Wedge" that grips poultry or roasts to keep them from slipping during carving. Reverse side can be used for regular cutting and chopping needs and has a deep, wide moat to collect juices or hold garnishes.

Very nice board just like the pictures and description, but it appears that they forgot to do a finish sanding of their product. I hit it with 150 grit sandpaper then followed with 220 grit to get it to the smoothness that I had expected. Kind of a pain if you know what I mean.

In the past the juices from my roasts would overflow my cutting board and create a mess. Now the juices are contained.
