Product Description

A wood specialist for more than 50 years, Catskill's experience with select eastern hardwoods sets it apart. The company uses only non-endangered, self-replenishing domestic species, such as hard maple and birch. This adjustable over-the-sink Cutting Board has pull-out plastic wires that adapt to fit almost any sink. It's a great help for cooks who need counter space, as it effectively turns the kitchen sink into a cutting surface. Extension wires extend an additional 3-inches. Products offered by Catskill Craftsmen are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill Craftsmen operations generate no wood waste.

It's a very nice cutting board. Easy to use. Convinient. I have problem with the other cutting board does not fit the sink- it just kept sliding off. This one fit the top of the sink perfectly; make my cooking preparation process faster and easier.

My mom bought me one for a gift & it's the only cutting board I will ever have. I've had them for around 20 years! It has fit every sink & has been a great product. These usually last me a couple years (then I purchase a new one) and then they will start to warp or crack but figure you only pay $13, it's well worth it. I've bought more expensive ones but they aren't adjustable & they're really heavy! Not something you want to deal with every day. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this board along with another brand. This one falls off the sink and is constantly dumping my cuttings in the sink. It also warped within one month of my purchasing it. The wood has also splintered. Not my idea of a good cutting board. I would not recommend it to my friends, nor would I purchase it as a gift.
