Great Island!,

I searched for weeks before choosing this island and I'm glad I did. It did take a while to put together but it's both STURDY and BEAUTIFUL. I originally planned to add a solid surface top to match the rest of my new kitchen but the butcher block top is just too nice to cover. The island is solid wood (with a few pieces of plywood - no "pressed boards") and made in the USA. And Catskill Craftsman customer service was wonderful when I called with a question. What more could I ask for?
