About the Author
Pierre Menetrier is a retired chef and restaurant owner who lives in Shandaken. Jay Wenk is a semi-retired cabinetmaker from Woodstock. Both compete in the Senior Olympics. Though they have cycled together in many parts of the country, they love the Catskills best, where they may often be found riding accompanied by Pierre's wife Yvette.
