A great passionate escape into the ultimate romance!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cattleman's Choice (Paperback)
Diana Palmer really knows how to crank up the sexual tension between her characters. Carson is a macho "diamond in the rough" who has been longing for Madelyn for years! He finally decides to do something about it, and enlists Maddie's help in polishing himself for the woman he wants. Maddie has no idea the woman is her. The scenes between them are passionate, and hilarious. It's a great read, but don't pick it up unless you can finish it in one sitting. It's impossible to put down.

Cattleman's Choice,

This review is from: Cattleman's Choice (Paperback)
Diana Palmer is a great writer. And my absolute favorite was her Soldier of Fortune series. In Cattleman's Choice the hero's story was very touching. He was tough, sexy, and funny. The heroine was very sweet but she also gave him back as good as she got. Is was sad that her fiance had died, and it was okay that she morned. But I did not like that she seemed to have been so in love before, infatuated, okay. The reason we read romance novels is for the great stories about true love

A Keeper!,

This review is from: Cattleman's Choice (Paperback)
If you are like me and read romance novels to enter that special world of ideal love and romance this book is a must. Diana Palmer has a bit of every kind of romance that so many of us like. Unrequited, yearning, desperate love, a soft and feminine lady who is all woman and a hero who is all rough male who is willing to do anything for her including change but discovers that she loves him just as he is

This review is from: Cattleman's Choice (Paperback)
I love Diana Palmer! I have read nearly all of her stories and "Cattleman's Choice" is my favorite. I recomend it to all of my female friends. Her male characters are so strong and wonderful. I fall in love with every one of them myself. I wish I could write stories like Diana Palmer but I satisfy myself with reading hers.

One of Palmer's best!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cattleman'S Choice (Paperback)
I was really intrigued when I read the summary of the plot for this book - not too many of Palmer's westerns have high-society gals in them. But Mandy is actually very down to earth, and a saint to put up with all that Carson puts her through. I ached for them both, neither thinking that the other could possibly love them and hurting each other in the process. Palmer's signature passionate scenes and honest dialogue are in top form in this one. A real keeper!

I loved her female and male characters. Strong, brass man but tender hearted...the kind you fall in love with. I read in one setting. Enjoyed tremendously.

I adore Carson!,

Carson Wayne is one of my favorite Palmer heroes. There is not a phony bone in his body, and DP does a masterful job of making him gruff and sweet at the same time. That he loves Mandy enough to want to make himself "better" for her is heart wrenching, knowing as we do that she loves him just the way he is but can't believe he could feel the same for her. Very beauty-and-the-beast, and sensual and humorous to boot. A keeper for sure!

This review is from: Cattlemans Choice (Mira) (Paperback)
I just loved this book, it was wonderful, and it made me smile! Carson is a man after my own heart! This book is about a very handsome rancher named Carson, and a very beautiful real estate agent, named Mandelyn.Carson and Mandelyn are as different as night and day! Mandelyn is a very proper lady, while Carson is a man, who could really care less about being proper, and knowing which fork to use at dinner, but he is willing to learn all this to impress a special woman ,that he has been in love with for years! The whole town gets scared of Carson, when he is drinking and fighting in bars! When trouble starts, everyone around knows, to call Mandelyn because Mandelyn is the only one, that Carson will ever allow to get close to him! When Mandelyn enters on the scene, Carson lets her lead him around, like a meek lamb, and take him home, but Carson's hidden desire for her changes all that! Carson gets Mandelyn to teach him table manners, and how to dress, and to help him learn the proper way to do things, so that he can win a certain very proper ladys heart! But Carson ends up teaching Mandelyn a thing or two! Mandelyn starts to see Carson as he really is, a very special man who is REAL! Carson is not a man to put on airs, and I find that so refreshing, and real!
