Product Description

Two detectives investigating a gang-related crime find themselves targeted by both gang members and crooked cops.

Amazon.com

Caught in the Crossfire joins the long history of cheap, gritty cops-and-robbers flicks. Briggs (Chris Klein, Election, American Pie) and Shepherd (Adam Rodriguez, CSI: Miami) are on the trail of dirty cops, pointed that way by a snitch named Tino (rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson). Unfortunately, a confrontation leads to the death of everyone who might provide evidence--and Briggs and Shepherd find themselves suspects. One always hopes that a lack of resources will inspire imagination, but Caught in the Crossfire is pretty standard in every respect. There's a twist in the plot, but it only works by Hollywood logic; it upends our expectations but doesn't make much sense. Klein isn't very persuasive as a tough guy and Jackson isn't very persuasive as an actor; Rodriguez is livelier, but the dialogue hampers him. The action scenes are shot hand-held, jerky and confusingly edited. The look of the movie is successfully downbeat and aggressively urban, all shadowy blues and grainy grays. --Bret Fetzer

Not going to waste much time on this. Don't bother with this. It has got to be the worst thing I've seen in a long time. The writing is cheesy, the acting is horrible, the story boring and contrived. Save your time and money.

Better actor than rapper in my opinion, he should stick to the acting he is better at it than the rap game in my opinion and I am old school rap from when they were rapping in 18 and Clark park in the South Bronx and before rap was on wax, I know rap

This was a very good movie. My husband and I thought the movie was going one way but it went another way. The villains in the movie were not who we thought. It is action. I would recommend this movie.

Terrible...Just such a terrible movie. I like my share of cop drama movies but this particular film proved exactly why it went straight to DVD release. There was just too much bad acting, especially from Chris Klein, who was practically screaming all the time while "trying" to justify his actions and involvement in a dirty cop case. The twist at the end was short-lived and I felt like I wasted at least 90 minutes of my life after watching it. Don't bother to watch or buy this movie!

This is a good movie. Lots of action and twist. It keeps you guessing until the very end. Lots of shoot-em up bang bang. My only concern is that 50 Cents' character is not in the movie very much. But that seems to be the norm with pretty much all movies that 50 Cents is in. This movie is Still DEFINITELY worth seeing.

Loved this movie, bit violent in parts but it was keeping in context with the subject matter. Adam Rodriguez was brilliant, loved him. Fifty Cent was very good, very believeable. Makes you think a little.
