"Caught In A Moment" was the fourth and final single from the Sugababes third album, entitled "Three," in 2004. This CD single, part 2 of 2 includes the album length version of "Caught In A Moment" as well as two tracks recorded on Sessions with AOL in February 2004, "Conversation's Over" and "Hole In The Head."
Contrary to what's listed, there is no enhanced portion with the "Caught In A Moment" video included on this CD. If one wants to see the clip, a black and white ditty with the girls behind the scenes amongst lighting equipment on a photo shoot, one must purchase the "Overloaded, The Singles Collection" DVD.
"Caught In A Moment" is a straight up ballad. My favourite line comes in the first verse, sung by Mutya, "Your stare swallows me in, and I can hardly breathe..." she sings in that low husky voice she uses. This is Mutya's show, and Keisha and Heidi are merely her back-up singers.
Why buy this CD then, if you already own the "Three" album or the "Overloaded Singles Collection" CD? For the live version of "Conversation's Over" which is the my favourite cut on the "Three" album. It's not their best performance live as a whole, but once again Mutya carries the show. The song is a great up-lifting ballad about finally deciding to leave an unhealthy relationship. Awesome.
