The first time I heard this song, I was instantly drawn to it! Kelis' "Caught Out There" tells the all-too familiar tale of love gone bad because of cheating. Kelis gets out all of the frustrated feelings that both women and men have felt when their boyfriend or girlfriend has cheated when she screams "I hate you so much right now!"

"Caught Out There" is a really catchy song that you find yourself singing along to by the second chorus. It was also produced by a then-unknown producing duo named The Neptunes. Their beats and Kelis' voice really bring the song together.

With all of the anger and attitude that's in the song aside, "Caught Out There" is a really great song! You won't be disappointed with this one!

I didnt relize it at the time but the neptunes made a classic on this song. This came out in 2000 and this song with its creative lyrics and neptunes on the beats made a masterpeice. This came out when before the neptunes were popular and artis overused their beat on they polluted the radio. So what ended up happening is that this was a unique type sound that came out that nobody was ready used to. This is like meshing video game , fire works sounds and r&b togethor. I love kelis to this day she still sound unique.

kelis came out of nowhere with this song.... i love this song to death because it is like a revenge song and she is screamin through the whole song!!!! and i love it to death...

i have never heard a song like this... the neptunes are brilliant... i like their style of video game sounds mixed with african drums with a hint of rock....

kelis is different from the other female artist because she does not have to holler high notes through songs just so she can get a point through (i.e. beyonce)...

this is a brilliant song and i think this song should have done better on the charts and the listeners because it was sooo different... i recommend this song to anyone tha likes something different...
