**ARC copy provided for an honest review**

This book is one of those about second chances and true love. It also is about getting closure from the past and moving on.

Kat never expected to see Bryan again. And she had pretty much convinced herself that she was over him. But that all changes when she finds herself being paired up with him for a business class she is taking to get her MBA. See, he broke her heart 5 years ago when she was an innocent, starry-eyed 17 year old who fell in love with her brother's best friend. And really he did it with no explanation.

I was honestly a little ticked off at Kat for most of this book. How can you easily fall under the spell of someone who crushed your innocent heart so many years ago? And right after you declare you love him no less?! It helped when I thought back to all those many years ago when I had a first love and how I might have acted should I ever have found myself in Kat's shoes.

But only a little!

There were many times I wanted to slap her smart and strangle Bryan's neck for treating her so horribly. Although the book had its frustrating elements, there were many more that were just flat out sweet. And steamy too! Two words...phone sex! 'Nuff said!

I loved how Kat was a strong independent young woman! Well, except when it came to Bryan but I will forgive her for that. She is family oriented which was a nice touch. I believe the whole story was very well rounded and gave us a bit of everything I personally look for in a book.

It was a quick read for me (read in one afternoon). I would highly recommend this one to anyone who is looking for..

Caught Up In Us was sweet, flirty, sexy, and an overall enjoyable read. The characters were likable and I love stories about couples coming back together.

Bryan was Kat's first love. They met right before she started college. At that time, Bryan had already graduated from college and was getting ready to leave for France to start his new job. While Kat was looking forward to a future with Bryan, he felt that Kat needed to experience college life at it's fullest. So, sadly, they broke up.

Now, years later Bryan and Kat are reunited. Bryan is assigned as Kat's mentor in her Masters program. They obviously have to spend time together and their connection reignites. Of course they have obstacles to overcome, but in the meantime, they tried to steal some moments together when they could.

Bryan and Kat were really a sweet couple. I love that they never stopped loving one another. They also knew how to bring on the heat without even being together. They had some really hot phone sex. In fact, the phone sex scenes were almost hotter to me than when they actually got together.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend Caught Up In Us. I had fun reading it. I've been reading some heavy angsty books lately, so this gave me a nice fresh break. If you're looking for a cute love story that delivers some serious sexy, check this one out.

~His lips were the softest I'd ever felt, and his kisses were of the epic kind, the kind that made you believe that movie kisses weren't just for actors or for stories, that they could be for you, and they could go on and on, like a slow and sexy love song that melted you from the inside out.-Loc 404

~Served him right with the way he was blowing me off. At least I'd had an orgasm, and he hadn't. Small victory, but I'd take it.-Loc 978

Well written, quick and easy to read. Lauren Blakely wrote a tasteful love story. Characters weren't damaged but refreshingly normal and in love.

Me: "So have you read Caught Up in Us yet? I'm about 50% through and having a little bit of a rough time with it."

Anonymous Blogger: "No.. I'm starting it this week. Shoot..It's not good?"

Me: "It's not bad, I'm starting to get into the story, but the plot's just not as well written as I hoped. The flow is off and things kind of come out of nowhere."

Anonymous Blogger: "Ugh I hate that. It's not that consistent it sounds like."

Me: "It's like there's suppose to be all this sexual tension, but then all of the sudden they're all over each other...then she tries to go back to the sexual tension...but it's lost. But Holy Phone sex Batman!! WHOA!"

Anonymous Blogger: "The Phone sex is good? Now you're making me want to read it,lol. I see what you mean though...Damn. It sounded so good too when I read the blurb. It's kind of short too which I didn't expect."

Me: "Did I mention the phone sex is hot!!!!"

Anonymous Blogger: "It kind of makes up for it then, lol"

First let me say that Lauren Blakely has a steamy little volcano mouth erupting hotness all over the place. The phone sex, the museum, the bathroom, the office. God Bless, I needed a poncho just for my undies.

As much as I loved the physical connection between Bryan and Kat, I wasn't a huge fan of the plot. I found I was bored one minute and suffering from whiplash the next. The pacing was a little up, down and all over the place. It took me about half of the book to really feel involved in the story.
