Very useful tool and prevents silcone, latex and even grout caulk from drying out.,

Although there have been times when I have used an entire tube of caulk (mostly latex caulk), for the most part, that isn't the case. Although masking tape does a good enough job, it's not really reusable and after some time, isn't cost effective. Also in some cases, the tape does not fully protect your tube of caulk, even if the tape has an ultra adhesive grip like Gorilla Tape. This has saved me from having to buy new tubes of caulk and has done a great job. Unfortunately though, while the handle is very strong, the part that protects the caulk is somewhat strong, but caution must be used as it could easily break if too much tension is used. However, because the handle is very strong, as long as this tool is used properly, this tool will provide years of great service. Also, this tool is made in USA, so that is another bonus.

Since most of the caulk manufacturers don't provide a cap of some sort, I was looking for something that would save the left over caulk, especially since I rarely ever use the entire tube. This is a wonderful product and has kept the last 2 tubes I used from drying up. Recommend to any and everyone! A++
