Look, The only thing that I can say about this album is..BUY IT!!

Mille Petrozza will make you bleed with this MASTERPIECE!!!
I just can't believe that songs such as: "Bomb Threat", "Anarchy" and "Men Without God" are part of a same album. They just make me go crazy.
Please, make yourself a favor...BUY IT!!!

I don't know why some people seem unable to find the greatness on this record... as with the Sep's "Chaos AD" or Slayer's "Divine intervention", the band shows a true understanding of the violence and aggression of the times in which it was delivered. In a pre-industrial-hype scene, when there were no fear factories or slipknots, i.e. melodic vocals or death metal disguises, they simply did what they did best (thrash metal) and pushed it one gigantic step beyond, demostrating the full validity of a genre definetely not in its peak at the time. Add a perfect sound, perfect technique, Mille's most aggressive and rabid vocals in ages, politics-wise and urban warfare lyrics... and you have a perfect record. People who speak about this record being slow or medium paced must have listened to another one. Or may not have listened to it at all. Just listen to "Bomb Threat": right in this page, scroll to the sound samples and judge by yourselves.

The tracks on this cd from Cause for Conflict are epic! It is a underrated masterpeice. LOST, HATE INSIDE YOUR HEAD, STATE OPPRESSION, BOMB THREAT, the best era of Kreator ever!! 5 stars

I love this album. kreator may have changed their musical direction throughout the 90's, but they are great on all their albums.

This is a very primitive album, in a very good way, because it's very simple, straight-forward, to the point, not complex (in a good way) and without any nonsense. The distortion is so strong and crunchy and the speed is fast that this cd is very brutal. It's an assault on all your 5 senses. It grabs you from the get-go with its pummelling aggression and mayhem and doesn't let you go until the end. Do yourself a favor: Buy it and punish yourself with this masterpiece!
Long live "real metal" and "death" to all the nu-metal/nu-rock crap and posers that are polluting the airwaves today.

It is very hard to fault this record, and plenty of morons do. This is Kreator playing meaner, faster and more precise than any release since "Terrible Certainty".

Founding drummer Ventor had left prior to this album, so ex-Whiplash/Massacre whirlwind Joey Cangelosi stepped up to the bat and knocked this one out of the ballpark. He is very technical, fast as all hell, and unleashes a brutal double bass drum onslaught on this album.
The raw excitement and hardcore punk-ish energy propel this album to wicked heights.

Highly recommended, especially for those disappointed by "Renewal" (a transitional album, but still good), and "Outcast", "Endorama", etc....

Kreator still have it too, as the new album kills!

I gave this album 4 stars because I think this album ranks up their with Coma of Souls but not with Terrible Certainty, or Extreme Aggression. Its fast and heavy but something is missing. Maybe lyrically its diffrent but it's good to see they didn't go soft like Metallica or Megadeth. The only problem I have with this album is the track "Isolation" a good name because it isolates itself from the rest of the album. It's got a Revolution No.9 feel to it. All in all a good metal album.

I'll tell you up front I'm not reviwing the album, but the product on offer. I downloaded the mp3 album and some of the tracks are partially corrupted. I contacted Amazon and they checked it out and verified that the product is damaged. They refunded my money and said they'd pull it from the store until the problem was resolved, but I see it's still here the very next day.

I've downloaded several albums and this is the first one I've encountered problems with, but I'm not going to complain - they were honest and the issue was resolved promptly. If you're thinking about purchasing, I'd recommend contacting Amazon first just to make sure the issue was resolved.

Its not immediately obvious why this record sucks. 'Prevail' is an incredible opener; pounding drums, jagged thrash interchanges, catchy lyrics, a breakneck tempo that reminds of Slayer's 'Dittohead', but better. 'Catholics Despot' follows up in ferocious fashion, storming through with genuine irreligious menace. But then the momentum stops dead. There is no vitality or charm here, no abiding aesthetic to cover up the inconsistencies. A dangerous road to take. When the song-writing inevitably dips below inch-perfection, all impact is lost. Occasional decent riffs and chorus lines arise from this arid desert of calculated creativity, but never evolve into anything remotely exciting. It plods along in the indulgent fashion of similar post-thrash yawn-fests; 'Roots', 'Diablous in Musica', 'The More Things Change', etc. Too many disparate ideas and not enough raw substance, give me 'Tormentor' or 'Carrion' any day of the week.

foregoing their usual thrash attack for a more groove-laden mid paced downtuned chug, Kreator sounds a bit lost on this album. there are a few good riffs and the talent of this unit cannot be denied, but there is no spark of greatness that they showed on their earlier albums...and the vocals are in a New York hardcore style kind of yell; in other words, lame. songs like "Catholic Despot" show that they still have some firepower left in their teutonic speed metal veins, but overall Cause For Conflict is an uninspired album.
