I hadn't heard of DS before January. I haven't been able to stop listening to them since. Combining awesome instrumentals, hard-hitting undertones, great and meaningful lyrics, and enough variety to be refreshing while never straying too far from their unique sound - DS does it all [and that sweeet album cover is just icing on the cake :) ].
With a strong intro in "Disconnect" to the awesome, relentless rockin' from "Suffocate" to "Whatever It Takes," easing the listener back to the ho-hum of usual life with the beautiful slowed version of "Suffocate," this album is sure to please. Some of my favorites are "Suffocate, "Disconnect," "Broken," "Chasing Tomorrow," and "Love & Tragedy."

They've just released an acoustic CD/DVD EP "Hollow" with acoustic versions of some tracks from this album as well as some of their new work. It's more in line with "One More Day" and "Crash," not the heavier Broken/Disconnect/Sick Inside feel. But it's still great stuff! Check it out if you like "cause and effect." Rock on, DS! (and come to Austin, TX sometime =P )

Great debut CD. Very polished for an unsigned group. Unique sound and album cover. Liked it alot. I especially liked songs 5 & 6. Keep it up DS and you will go far.

I saw Digital Summer in concert with 10 Years in Knoxville. I bought both their albums and love all their songs. Great band.
