Outstanding book. Excellent pictures and good information on nearly all aspects of the Cavalier. The best I've seen on this breed. I'm impressed.

This book is full of great advice for anyone from a novice Cav. owner to serious exhibitor and breeder. Beautifully illustrated with an excellent chapter on grooming with progressive photos.

Unsurpassed information on the CKCS--all cav lovers must read this book!!

I was expecting alot more book for my buck. The info in the book is accurate and appropriate enough, but $45 is not an appropriate price. If you require a history of the breed and plan to show your Cavalier, then I guess you have to part with the cash. But for the casual owner/lover of these pups, much of the info was wasted.

This book is not only very well written, but also just great for the history of this breed. If you're like me, and love the history aspects of your dog breed, this book just covers it all. Wonderful pictures on the founding dogs, really makes you get an appreciation for how such a wonderful breed of dog like the Cavalier came into existance. Also the author covers how to pick out the best puppy, lucky markings etc, just really interesting and fun stuff for every Cavalier owner. If you are a totally novice dog owner this is a bit more advanced, but if you a real lover of this breed this is a must have book. The grooming and conformation chapters are also just top notch. This is truly the best book I have ever seen on this breed. I recommend it highly to all Cavalier King Charles Spaniel enthusiasts!

this is a good book on the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It is well written and very informative. It is not as comprehensive as my favorite book on these dogs, but it is a good addition to my library, and well worth the money.

This is an excellent book on the breed! Do not waste your money on any of the big company books that offer multiple breed titles, they have very limited information. If you are truly interested in learning about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, this is the book for you!
