Tibet, a tragedy that continues . . .,

This review is from: Cavaliers of Kham: The Secret War in Central Asia (Hardcover)
Peissel produced an excellent book with the story of the almost unknown freedom fighters of Tibet. Peissel describes, in detail, how an anceint warrior tribe fought the Chinese Occupation for 20 years, almost entirely unadded by outside sources. Its as complementary to the Khamba warriors as it is scathing to the international heartlessness that allowed three million Tibetans be slaughtered by the Chinese. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Tibet or Tibetan history.
