disappointed,
This review is from: Cavalletti: Schooling of Horse and Rider over Ground Rails (Hardcover)
I had been waiting for the revised edition to be released and now I have it I am very disappointed. Just a lot of pictures and old diagrams of grid jumping. Over half of the book is about jumping. People who jump will not learn anything new and will do better with 101 Jumping Exercises: For Horse and Rider. People who want innovative ways to use cavallettis on the ground for strengthening and training young horses, like I do, will be disappointed. Only 8 out of 144 pages focused on ground work. Not worth buying.

Great book with very helpful information and wonderful photographs. This is a classic book
for horse riders from an author who was a champion himself. Highly recommended. |
