Book Description

April 15, 2002
Thomas Mitchem joined the United States Cavalry to serve his country and kill terrorists. What no one expected was the new Persian state to build a land army and blitz into its neighbors. Including Turkey, which would bring the United States into a full-scale high intensity conflict, it was not prepared for. Fortunately for the United States Army its cavalry scouts were.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong military fiction, April 30, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Cavalry Scout (Paperback)
"Cavalry Scout" blends action, tactics and strong characters to create a compelling world of war in the near future. Thomas Mitchem is a strong hero, a man of both book learning and military know-how, who is suddenly in the middle of combat between the U.S. and revived Persian forces. A good read for its writing style, realism and memorable characters.

1.0 out of 5 stars Confusing, December 27, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Cavalry Scout (Paperback)
As a Current 19d in the Army National Guard I was excited to find out there was finally a fiction novel about our very exciting but overlooked military profession. That is until
I read this Horrable book. This book is confusing and sinical there is no real plot and the ending is down right retarded.
I am ashamed that out Military Profession has been insulted in this way.
