Put a carob dipped hazelnut in your mouth, then a tablespoon of honey, and that approximates the flavor of these. I could not get past more than half a cookie. Just too sweet. There needs to be a balance of flavors in something like a cookie. This is a lopsided treat.

If you don't like cloyingly sweet treats, this won't do. You'd better really love a punch of honey.

I am getting back to Paleo after years and health issues convinced me to go back. Man have things changed. Last time I did this, it was just meat, veggies, fruits, nuts, berries. No coconut flour or almond flour. Now we have products like these - and I wanted to like them. I will eat them - I wish I had only bought one box to try, instead of three flavors. They will be good to keep in my bag along with Tonka bars, for snacking when I am out and about.

First, the cookies are just a little bigger than a 1/2 dollar, individually wrapped. There are only 8 in the box. Now, I know that paleo I gradients are more expensive, but $7 for 8 small cookies seems a little much. I googled Paleo Chocolate Chip cookies - you ca use Easy Life or dark chocolate chips, chunks, or chopped up bars - that are made with almond and coconut flour. They were amazing and way cheaper to make.

As others said, these are chewy and, unlike the other flavors - almost overly sweet. They taste more like a Lara Bar, with a similar consistency to a protein bar. Again, they were about two bites each.

So, I will use them, to carry for snacks, but I have found dozens of recipes for Paleo cookies that I think are way better. Plus, as part of Paleo, we are supposed to avoid processed foods - these are just too easy to have on hand all the time. Now if I want cookies, I have to make them - which kills my cravings a lot of the time.

If you have kids and the $, I could see where these would be good as snacks for school or lunches.

I bought this item to taste them and see how they were made. They are a bit pricey for the amount that you get, so if you like the cookies, I highly recommend requesting at your local grocery to stock them for you. They taste wonderful and are addictive! I've had a hard time not eating the bag! I highly recommend spending the extra money so as to at least try them!

I just want to say two things before my review
1) If you eat a paleo diet you might think these are too sweet. The first ingredient is honey.
2) If you are used to eating a lot of processed foods these will probably not taste like "real" cookies to you

I have a sweet tooth and these cookies really hit the spot! They are definitely sweeter than most of the paleo baked goods I have tried making at home. The serving size is 2 cookies for 150 calories but 1 cookie was enough to satisfy me. I'd say the flavor is definitely honey>nutty>chocolate. The chocolate flavor is faint so if you are expecting a chocolate cookie you will likely be disappointed. They come individually wrapped so that helps to curb the temptation to eat more than one and it keeps them soft and chewy! I'm going with 5 stars but I'd give them a 4.5 for being slightly too sweet if I could.

These cookies are excellent. They taste great, are chewy, and are 'paleo'. They come packaged individually (in plastic) inside the brown bag that's in the item photo. But, they're REALLY small. Definitely not the same size as what's portrayed in the photo. I'd say they're about 2 inches across.

According to the nutrition information on the bag, each cookie has: 75 calories, 4.5g fat, 8g carbs (1g fiber, 7g sugar), and 1.5g protein. So they might have actually designed the size around the level of calories or something, making it a good all-natural snack that's just about the right energy input, even though most of it is sugar..

So, they're really tasty, but they're also quite small in size, which will be the bottom line for most people. They're definitely worth trying at least once, but if the Caveman Bakery wants me to buy them again, they'll need to drop the price quite a bit.

Stars:
+4 for great taste
+1 for all natural ingredients
-1 for price

These are tastee cookies and low in carbs. but watch out for the calories. you cannot sit and eat the whole box or you will see it on the scale next time you weigh in. I would still buy more but you cannot eat more than one or two and watch your shape.

These cookies arrived quickly and were packaged well. Loved all 3 kinds. Nice to have cookies you don't have to feel guilty about. Great taste.

I started on the paleo diet in September and I have really been craving "comfort foods" every now and again. I ordered these after reading about them online and figured I would give them a try. I really like them - they are so good! A lot of healthy food can be really boring but these are just yummy.

If I had any complaints, it would probably be their size. They taste fantastic but I was disappointed when I opened the bag and found out how small they are. They are nowhere near as big as the photo here makes them look. They're really good, though!

These cookies are great alternative for those who are trying to eat healthier but still want something sweet now and then. The consistency is similar to the fig in a fig newton. They are very flavorful. And my 4 year old loves them. He prefers these cookies to processed ones- they are a daily snack on the ride home from school- something sweet with protein and nutrients in it. Just cannot pack in his lunch as these do have nuts in them and his class has nut allergies.

I was horrified when I opened the box these cookies were shipped in. I paid a lot for what I thought was a normal-sized box of cookies, and got a miniature box instead.

They taste fine - pretty much what I expected. I will definitely be saving these for special occasions and will NOT order again!

Make sure you pay attention to the size and quantity of what you are ordering. I definitely will next time!
