Ru Emmerson is a fantastic writer. I read these books in Kindle format again after 10 years! They captivated my heart all over again! Several years ago my wife made me clean out my library so I had donated all my paperbacks and many of my hard cover books to the Jack Williamson Special Collection at Golden Library at eastern New Mexico Universary! Now I am rebuilding my collection via Kindle and Baen books e collections.This book is pure fantasy aimed at the young adult market yet is crafted so well that it recaptured my imagination in just a few lines! Well worth the investment!

this was one of my first rue emerson book. a wonderfull story, a great female hero. a very ingrossing story. also great for cat lovers.
