5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books I've ever read and I've read hundreds, September 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Caves of Fire and Ice ( The Children of Ynell, Book 4 ) (Paperback)
I LOVE this book! I found it at the library and didn't expect it to be that good and when I read I read it in a couple hours. I kept on reading and reading it! It is about Skeelie and how she loves Ramad but Ramad is searching for Telien his true love. It is very imaginitive and goes into time travel and stuff like that. I would recomend it to anyone! Girls it goes into love and Boys it goes into battle and fighting. THE BEST!

This review is from: Caves of Fire and Ice ( The Children of Ynell, Book 4 ) (Paperback)
This book and two others in the series, The Castle of Hape and The Joining of the Stone, are now available for Kindle in an omnibus edition titled The Runestone of Eresu. (The first two books of the series are in another omnibus, The Shattered Stone; but The Runestone of Eresu, which is for older teens and adults, can be read independently.) If you liked this book, please review it there.

This is an excellent book. I picked up this book because I had read the Dragonbard Trilogy and loved them, but this book surpassed them by far. Unfortunately, because of the obscurity of the author, I have been unable to find any of the other books in the series, but that is neither here nor there. The plot was complex, interesting, and dealt realistically with time travel. The characters were realistic and well-developed and the writing was superb.
