Poignant account of the Iranian Caspian littoral provinces,
By joel417 (Arlington, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Caviar Coast (Hardcover)
The book is a most detailed account of the Iranian Caspian littoral provinces of Gilan and Mazenderan. Chapter 5 - Peace Corps - is a most compelling and poignant account of the American Peace Corps who served in this area in the late 1960s. The author is Irish and has a superb knowledge of Iran. Much humor is interjected throughout.
