Teakwood Pullover is worked from the bottom up, in stockinette stitch, with cable and lace panels worked up the sides on each front and back. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, so the only seaming is at the shoulders. It is designed to be worn with 8” to 11” of positive ease as a comfy over-sized sweater. Woolen-Spun Fingering weight yarn from Elsa Wool Company provides beautiful drape and makes for a super soft knit!

New Pattern: Teakwood
I am so happy with this hat and I finished it just in time for our first snow of the season here in Maine. Luckily the snow didn’t stick around, but this hat is still on my head:) Teakwood is worked from the bottom up with a ribbed brim and a simple lace and cable pattern through the body. The 8 row repeat of this lace and cable pattern keeps it interesting without getting complicated. I love how pretty these stitches look in Lillian from Dirty Water Dyewor
Olivenite is knit from the top down with raglan shaping and increases along each front. Ribbed trims are picked up along each front and a ribbed collar is worked around the neck. Patch pockets with cable details are a pretty and functional added detail.
And a few recently published designs (I have been doing too much knitting and not enough blogging!)
