5.0 out of 5 stars Soothing and Intoxicating, September 23, 2010
This review is from: Cedarwood 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil- 10 ml (Misc.)
This is my favorite oils...I find it warm, soothing and intoxicating. It is the answer for anyone looking for just the right aroma for their male clients. I consider this a very sharp, masculine scent, perfect for creating soaps and sport rubs geared toward males. It would also be great for using alone or in blends to re-create a "lodge" scent for use in saunas or as room freshener.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR ITCHING SCALP, March 17, 2011
This review is from: Cedarwood 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil- 10 ml (Misc.)
I have dreadlocks and have always wanted to find a more natural way of taking care of my hair and scalp. I have eczema as well as seborrheic dermatitis, so I have to be careful of the products I use. I recently decided to try essential oils and learnt that Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, etc are good for treating certain scalp conditions, so I purchased quite a few different ones. I noticed some time ago that whenever I had my locks re-tightened, I would develop fine bumps along my hairline, and they sometimes itch (whether or not they're too tight)...tried various products including prescription meds and nothing worked. Just last week I had my locks re-tightened and the same thing happened...decided that among all the essential oils I have, there must be something that would work. Well, I read the label for the Cedarwood and lo and behold, it addressed itching! Suffice to say, I applied a few drops mixed with a little Jojoba oil and voila! both the itching and the bumps disappeared by the next day! Great product!!

This is an exceptional oil. It has a woodsy musk that is full in scent but not over powering. I would recomend this to anyone! Great addition to bath teas!

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile Oil!, September 13, 2011
This review is from: Cedarwood 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil- 10 ml (Misc.)
Wonderful oil! I use it in a lot in my cold process soaps. It is very versatile, a very sweet, surprisingly inexpensive oil that brightens up many blends similar to how citrus does. I use it as an equivalent to Frankincense in meditative blends.I also mix it with Edens Garden Thyme, Lavender and Rosemary in jojoba oil, it is so yummy smelling and it is good for hair loss!

It works. It soothes and calms hyperactivity, impulsivity and it increases apetite. This is my experience using it on a patient. I recommend it. Personally, I also used it to help me stay awake while driving. Couldnt get five hour energy and i found cedar oil a good substitute. I mean this is a personal review. Not sure if it would work for everyone. I always give things time to work. You definitely may not see results if you just sniff it and expect a miracle.

This oil is good quality and has a strong scent. It's not diluted or weak and only takes a drop to produce a nice aroma.
