Great music, better in person!, November 9, 2009

I had the good fortune to hear Cedric Watson and his band up close and personal at a music festival very recently and was transfixed by them. This cd is very good, but their charisma, talent, and the amazing atmosphere they create just wasn't there. Live music is always better, of course. But this was especially true for this music... this is an artist who deserves all the accolades he receives. He is a fantastic musician, and is doing much to keep this music alive.
