This review is from: Ceiling Mount for 32" 37" 40" 42" 46" 50" Unibrak CM1 Plasma LCD LED Tilt and Swivel (Electronics)
My husband is an installer. So I had ordered tons of mount for his projects. I could not resist the low price offered by Mountplus and bought this one from him. The mount was shipped by Amazon.com and was received quickly. When I opened the box, I could not believe my eyes. I had never seen any mount with such poor quality. It is, so " tiny". The ceiling bracket is only a 3.5 in x 3.5 in piece, 2mm thick. The bar is only 0.8 inch in diameter. All the weight is loaded to a single bolt, which attaches the ceiling pole to that plate. And this mount claims to load up to 165 lb. We have other ceiling mounts which are twice as strong, only claim to 135 lb. The overall paint was terrible too.
I felt that I might have received knockoff product. So I contacted the manufacture. To my surprise, they confirmed that this mount is their authentic product. We got a lesson and will stay away from this brand forever. This one is on its way back. No need to say more. I uploaded some pictures, please take a look yourself.

I purchased this mount for my 37" flat screen. The TV fit on the mount without too much trouble, I needed to remove some pieces from the TV for the mount to work properly. The instructions were terrible. The person who wrote them did not use English properly and they were writen with no specific manufactures instructions, very general. Even the diagrams were of little to no help. Operationaly the mount is sturdy but some of the parts are plastic that I think should be metal (the tightening knobs for the tilt option). Overall the mount will function and was shipped promtly and although the directions were not well written I had little trouble with assembly.

I found the product to be a good trade off between the low price and somewhat limited capacity and design.
The good points: -The price is almost as low as trying to build one from scratch using building supply hardware (not that I suggest that). -The unit looks pretty good: good looking but easily scratched black powder coat paint job. The nuts and bolts hardware looks fine. -The overall strength can support up to about 60 lbs imo. Although the specs say higher weight, the unit is not designed well enough to fulfill that claim. The bad points: -My complaint mirrors some others: the ceiling pole mounts to the back of the bracket such that a large monitor, mine is 42", is off center with the center of gravity. This causes some bowing of the pole and angling down of the monitor. This could prove to be a disaster if the ceiling bracket is not securely screwed/bolted into a board (ceiling joist) or other solid part of the ceiling construction. The manufacturer should redesign the ceiling pole to curve towards the monitor as is the case for some competitors units available at a higher price. Otherwise, the mounting position of the pole to bracket could be redesigned to come closer to the line of gravity, ie closer to the monitor. That would cost the dummies very little.
