For thirty years, I have hung onto a vinyl copy of "Dos", hoping it would see the light of day on CD, although I was convinced that if it did, it would never be remastered.

Imagine my surprise when I found this remastered, limited edition set. Every original Warner Brothers album, in addition to every released single, is included in this set.

There is also a superbly written essay, with interviews, included. If you're a Malo fan, this is a must-own.

FOR YEARS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS . I AM A HUGE FAN OF MALO AND HIS BROTHER CARLOS SANTANA. YOU NOT GET TIRE OF LISTEN THIS MUSIC EVERYTIME , IS MAGIC.

this cd box set is the first four albums of the70's san francisco band Malo, lead guitar Jorge Santana, Carlos' brother, Richard Bean who later went on to lead the band Sapo sings Suavecito and many other hits, Willie G. and other great members of the band..takes me back to the time when if you heard a Malo song on the radio it made you proud because we weren't represented until bands like Santana, Malo, Azteca, El Chicano Dakila and many other local bands started getting air time. we got to listen to this wonderful music growing up, live. .growing up in Nor Cal you could see Santana Malo Hendrix Joplin any great band on just about any weekend some where close..mmm what a great time to grow up..thanks for releasing this cd set

I have been waiting for the CD version of Malo's LPs released back in the 70's. For those into Malo and Jorge Santana, this is a must have collection. My favorite album is Ascension, all the songs are nice and "No Matter" stands out with Jorge's quite lengthy & melodic guitar solo. This is a good example that the man has a good feel to express his guitar solo backed by great line up of musicians and horns section as well. Viva Malo!
